Maruti Suzuki recalls Swift and Baleno, check if you are affected
Maruti Suzuki has out an announcement of a service campaign on the Maruti Suzuki Nexa website calling Swift and Baleno owners for a possible inspection and fix procedure with the car's brake vacuum hose.
The Indo-Japanese car manufacturer will be contacting owners via dealerships starting May 14 to replace the faulty part fitted to Swift and Baleno hatchback models which were manufactured between December 1, 2017, to March 16, 2018, which comes to a total of 52,686 units.
As usual, the procedure during a recall such as these, if a replacement is needed, the car manufacturer will do it free of cost. Here is the website link to check if you are Swift or a Baleno owner, to know if your vehicle is affected. All you need is your car chassis number and enter it into the form provided.
