Producers quash rumours about Ram Charan’s upcoming film
The film is gearing up for release on Sankranthi next year.
Over the past few days, there have been various rumours about the delay in Ram Charan Teja’s upcoming untitled film. This also gave rise to the speculation that RC 12th release may be postponed. Putting an end to it all, the producers have come out with an official announcement that the film’s release for Sankaranthi 2019 is right on track.
DVV Entertainments official twitter handle tweeted: “Contrary to some rumors which are being circulated, #RC12 is on schedule to release for Sankranthi 2019. We will announce the first look details very soon,” which clears the air on its release.
According to sources, the talkie portions of the film will be wrapped by November 10 and the remaining two songs will be shot later. The post-production will begin on November 9.
It may be noted here that the film’s cinematographer Rishi Punjabi walked out of the film midway after his contract expired and director Boyapati Srinivas replaced him with another cinematographer. This news created several rumours about the delay in the film’s release. With the production house clarifying, fans can rest assured that RC12 will be out for Sankaranthi.
The film is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya under his banner DVV Entertainment. Kiara Advani who was last seen in Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu will play Ram Charan’s love interest in the film.
Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi will play the main antagonist while actor Prashanth will be seen as the brother of Ram Charan with Sneha appearing in a crucial role. Also, the Baahubali actor Ramya Krishnan will be seen in an important role in the film. The movie has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
